Shelly is the VP of Business Development & a Mastery Coach with All-Star Dental Academy. By aiding in the growth and expansion of All-Star, Shelly’s passion for dentistry allows the company to focus on guiding dentists and their teams towards achieving their vision of a successful dental practice. Because each office has their own definition of “success” Shelly focuses her attention on customized coaching by applying her 21 years in the dental field to each department within the office. Eric holds a degree in business administration and brings a strong business and systems approach to his consulting. His initiation into the field of dentistry was in the area of office management. He managed dental practices for over ten years and has been consulting over 250 offices nationwide since 2001.

I think it was Dr. Pierce said the more that you lead, the less you actually have to lead because you’re empowering the people that are with you. Who knows Simon Sinek? Like you follow his stuff. Okay, he wrote a book called Infinite Game. Infinite Game, okay. What does that mean, Infinite Game? We’re in an infinite game. does it define that for me? What did he say? He said, we think we’re playing four quarters. We think we’re playing January through March, April through June. We think we’re playing an eight hour game.

We’re not, we’re playing an infinite, you have to have an infinite mindset for this infinite game. Now you might have a day, you might have a week, you might have a month. We work in one month goals in dentistry. That’s actually unique in business. It’s a huge advantage. A lot of businesses, have annual goals, quarterly goals, it’s too big. You have to have daily goals, weekly goals, and monthly goals. That will take care of the year. We don’t, in November, start scrambling going, are we gonna make it? We know how we’re doing, because we’re,

tracking all along, but the infinite part of leadership means you’re not gonna be able to just say, okay, I know the five steps to be in a crucial, effective leader. I’m gonna be great. It’s gonna be constant, it’s gonna wear you down, and it’s gonna be a challenge all the time. It never ends. Anything worthwhile is an uphill climb.
