This is Dental All-Stars, where we bring you the best in dentistry on marketing, management, and training. Hey everyone, I’m Alex Nonigam, founder and CEO of All-Star Dental Academy. How do we systematically increase joy, motivation, appreciation? Well, none other than Tony Robbins solved that problem. Tony Robbins is a renowned speaker. He’s my former mentor, and I had the pleasure of being his top

coach for many years. So let’s get to this. Let’s get to Tony Robbins, his six questions, his six morning questions for motivation and success. Before we get to the questions, we have to appreciate the power of morning rituals. Because what happens with the ritual is you have this consistent practice that sets the tone for the day. You’re starting your day with intention and purpose.

and research backs the benefits to routines on productivity and well-being. So let’s take a look at these six morning questions. The first question is, what am I grateful for? Gratitude is actually a happiness enhancing practice, backed by science. And with this, what am I grateful for? You want to think freshly. What blessings do I have in my life? Big or small?

01:28

to an appreciation. You also will start to develop a sense of abundance and contentment. I’ll give you an example. For me, I’m grateful for my wife, she’s got to go first, my son, my dogs, my business, even this little podcast trick I may have learned. I’m appreciative and I’m grateful for that. That’s gratitude. The second question is, what am I excited about?

01:56

So you want to infuse every day with enthusiasm and motivation, a new project, time with a loved one, passion, any of those things. What fuels your sense of purpose? Example, what I’m excited about every day is I look to do something fun every day. I’m excited about my workout or even my lunch with my father. The third morning question is what am I committed to? This provides a sense of clarity.

02:26

and direction. It prioritizes your tasks and goals. It helps avoid distractions and it will set progress towards your aspirations. An example, what am I committed to? I’m committed to self-care and personal development and living with purpose. The fourth morning question is what am I happy about with my life right now? This reinforces the positive aspects of your life. It celebrates joys, no matter how small. It encourages a positive outlook.

02:56

An example is, I’m happy about the loving relationships that I have with my family and friends. The fifth morning question is, what am I proud of? This is a time to recognize your accomplishments. This fosters a healthy self-esteem. An example, I’m proud of my dedication to my fitness, to my business and wonderful team. The sixth morning question is, what am I enjoying now? What about your life do you enjoy right now? How does it make you feel? An example is,

03:25

I enjoy spending time with my family on vacations. I enjoy moments of relaxation and reflection. As always, there’ll be barriers. We’re gonna have resistance to change. We’re gonna have time issues or consistency issues of getting this done. So how do we implement these morning questions? Well, I would say set aside time every morning to do the questions, block it on your schedule, write your answers down. This will help you focus and stay consistent.

03:55

Make it a habit. So let’s review the six morning questions by Tony Robbins. First, what am I grateful for? Second, what am I excited about? Third, what am I committed to? Fourth, what am I happy about my life right now? Fifth, what am I proud of? And sixth, what am I enjoying now? Thanks for joining me.
