00;00;10;00 – 00;00;35;27

Hello, friends. Eric Vickery, president of coaching Allstar Dell Academy again, and this is your weekly message from me. I just want to be inspiring you and give you things to talk about with your team every week. So we call them motivational moments. And today I want to talk to you about mindset. You know, for me, I think most of us understand what our most powerful tool is.

00;00;35;29 – 00;00;58;08

I call it champion mindset. Do you have a champion mindset? And to really understand that, that means you have a understanding that the most powerful tool in your toolbox, in your tool belt, is the mind. Your mindset. So a champion knows that their most powerful weapon is their mindset. Somebody who is just a player doesn’t see themselves as a champion.

00;00;58;11 – 00;01;23;27

You cannot become a champion unless your mind is set to being that okay. To borrow the sports analogy and the way that a champion thinks, the way they have their self-talk, what’s going on upstairs? That is a powerful weapon when you use it properly. Also, emotional intelligence, your emotional reaction. Others, you can maintain emotional control in that mindset.

00;01;24;00 – 00;01;53;05

You’re more focused in those areas. So you ever notice you. When you have that temporary insanity, it goes. It goes off. That’s not being powerful with your mindset. And so what I want you to think about today is in difficult situations, how conscious, how focused are you and how disciplined are you at being emotionally intelligence? So a customer, a patient who’s who is just being angry or rude with you, what’s your reaction?

00;01;53;05 – 00;02;16;09

Right. You can acknowledge that that you have anger, but you don’t need to act on that. And so, remember, self-discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts. If you don’t control what you think you can’t control what you achieve. So I’m going to say this again in a different way. You want to be disciplined with your thoughts, your process.

00;02;16;09 – 00;02;40;03

You want to be focused so that you can then be focused on how you react to people. Again, you could be jealous up here, but you don’t need to react to it out here. So you if and if you’re not controlling what’s going on there, you’re definitely not controlling what’s up here. It’s a connection. So I start up here in my mind and saying, okay, I’m going to control the way I think about this, so therefore I control the way I act.

00;02;40;05 – 00;02;59;19

You cannot then control what you achieve. I’m focused up here, so I’m focused out here. Many of us will just ride on cruise control. We’ll just go on with the flow. I’ve done this before. Punch and punch out. So I want to challenge you this week. I want you thinking about what do you want to achieve? What is it that I want to get?

00;02;59;23 – 00;03;24;03

And what sort of mental mindset do I have to have in play in order to get there? That’s a discussion for you guys to have right now. For example, if I’m trying to grow, if I’m trying to reach more people, maybe it’s more more patients coming in. More phone calls coming in, more new patients. That means when the phone rings, it’s not like an alarm clock going off.

00;03;24;06 – 00;03;49;06

Oh, the phone’s ringing again. That’s a mindset challenge. Instead, I want you to think what? Every time that phone rings, it’s like a reward that’s happening. Like a celebration bell that’s going off, not an interruption. That’s a mindset focus that I want you to have. So talk amongst yourselves. Talk amongst your team about what are some things that are barriers in your mind, frustrations, things that get in the way of you achieving what you want this week.

00;03;49;08 – 00;03;55;23

You can reverse it and say, All right, we want to achieve that. What’s our mind? Barriers to that And have a great week, guys.
